Pull me out of this silence—
because I’m already sinking
from waiting for you to notice me.
It’s exhausting—really—
to stay where I’m unseen.
It’s like I’m asking for too much
just to be felt by you.
I was never asking for more—
only a sign that I mattered to you.
I only wanted to know
that somewhere in your life,
my presence reaches you—
that I was not loving into an empty room.
Maybe one day,
I will find the strength
to stop waiting for you to turn around.
But for now, I am here—
still hoping that you will notice
how long I have been trying
not to drown in your deafening silence.
