Remembering it all now,
I’d say—you could’ve saved me.
At some point, I have to stop making excuses and look at us in a place of love and growth.
When I ask you about “the plan” I am not asking for details. All I am asking you is where do I stand? Where are we? Do you still see me as far as me seeing you like the one I would love to marry?
One of the worst feelings in the world is knowing that you’ve given your all but it’s still not enough.
I get it! Loving is giving without expecting something in return—and it should give you the most wondrous feeling in the world. That’s how loving should make you feel, but what if by giving more, you’ll feel less? Less appreciated and worst less worthy—would you still continue?
Some goodbyes left us a lot of questions, but we don’t long to find the answers anymore.
Why? Because it feels like when you begin to question—you’ll begin to float yourself in an abyss of the unknown, and that is exhausting…
