Where Words Find a Home
Lavender Pen began with a simple belief:
That words have the power to heal, connect, and remind us that we are never truly alone.
What started as a poetry page on Facebook has grown into a community of over 1 million readers, united by a shared love for poetry, stories, and the emotions that make us human.
Through every poem, book, and conversation, Lavender Pen seeks to create a space where readers can feel seen, understood, and a little less alone in their journey.
Our Story
Founded by Xy-sa Rhea, a self-published poet and author, Lavender Pen began as a personal writing platform born from late-night thoughts, quiet reflections, and a desire to turn emotions into words.
What started as a single voice sharing poetry online gradually grew into a thriving community of readers who found comfort, healing, and connection through the written word. Through the years, Lavender Pen evolved into more than a page—it became a home for stories, emotions, and meaningful conversations, reaching over a million readers and followers.
As the community continued to grow, so did the dream.
With a desire to bring those words beyond the digital space and into the hands of readers, Rhea envisioned creating a publishing company that would not only publish her own books but also support aspiring writers and poets on their publishing journey.
She shared this vision with her cousin, Bill Ringer, who immediately believed in the idea and joined her in building what would become Lavender Books Publishing House. Together, they established the publishing arm of Lavender Pen, united by a shared belief in the power of stories and the importance of giving writers a platform to share their voices.
Recognizing his talent and passion for writing, Rhea also encouraged Bill to begin writing. Today, he contributes original pieces and content for Lavender Pen’s social media platforms, helping extend the voice and message of Lavender Pen to its growing community of readers.
Today, Lavender Pen continues to inspire readers through poetry and storytelling, while Lavender Books Publishing House works to help writers transform their dreams into books—one story, one voice, and one dream at a time.
