I feel so sad seeing women throwing their lives away, throwing every good reason out of the window, making wrong decisions, one after the other, all because of love or wait — Is it really love? or a blinded concept of love?
The worse and sad part? It is when you see them stooping down low, with no respect for themselves anymore. You begin to see how this is going to break them into pieces one day soon.
And what’s even worst? And probably the saddest of them all? When they knew that their dignity and worth are being stepped on, many times or again and again and again, but they don’t mind it, and they just let that come and accept it, for how long? I don’t know.
When a woman loses her identity, it will lead to losing her self-worth as well. Nothing is more tragic than losing your self-identity while loving the other person.
So…
Here’s to the girl who wakes up every morning and looks at the mirror and questions who she is because she doesn’t know herself anymore…
To the girl who lost her way and didn’t know where to go…
To the girl who gives her all and forgets herself along the way…
To the girl who cries every night because she felt that she’s been in the wrong place for quite a while.
To the girl who is afraid to let go because she felt no one will ever love her again…
To the girl who is dying inside each day but still keeps holding on for that single chance to be loved by the person she loves…
To the girl who has been taken for granted but is still willing to give so much of herself…
To the girl who’s just waiting to be freed from a cage; a cage that she doesn’t know she’s been building by herself…
To the girl who is willing to give more and receiving nothing in return…
To the girl whose dignity has been constantly crashed and stepped on…
To the girl whose heart and soul are bleeding…
HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR YOUR SELF…
JUST A LITTLE, AND A BIT MORE.
