When you’ll get older you’ll realize…
That a broken knee is better than a broken heart.
That being alone is better than being surrounded by people who’re not a keeper of your peace.
That in silence you’ll find the answers.
That the happiness you seek can be found in your own hands and not in every person you meet.
That often your search for meaning isn’t just limited to what you see or what you experience—because there is a lot more out there beyond what the eyes meet.
That the world is too big, too vast, too complex and it’s okay to not understand everything all at once, because some things are meant to be felt—just like moments; you capture it, you feel it and in a snap, it will soon be gone and then what will be left is that euphoria—that feeling of being alive to hold and to cherish.
That every circumstance you’re in is a product of the mastery or misery of the choices you made, and that you owe it to yourself to stand up for yourself all the more when the time comes that the consequences of your choices aren’t how you expected them to be.
That life is hard—the earlier you accept that the easier your life will become.
