#OneChildOnePiece is Lavender Pen Poetry’s yearly school supply drive for children in hinterland public schools — communities where even a single notebook can be out of reach.
What started as a small act of giving has grown into a movement powered by three simple actions: Buy. Donate. Serve.
Every shirt sold, every poem requested, and every peso given goes toward one goal: making sure no child has to start the school year empty-handed.
Where the funds come from:
- Lavender Pen Merch — 100% of the profit from our shirts, tote bags, caps, and mementos goes directly to the drive.
- #PisoBawatLetra — Every personalized poem, letter, or wedding vow requested through us helps fund a child’s school supplies.
- Partners — Generous individuals and organizations who donate monetarily or in kind (notebooks, school supplies, and more) make up the bulk of what powers this advocacy today.
Every year, we personally select schools in hinterland communities and deliver supplies directly to the children who need them most.
This is more than charity. It’s poetry in action — words turned into notebooks, pencils, and a little more hope for a child we may never meet, but whose story we get to be part of.
